AT&T is also having a nationwide issue. Has been going on since last night around 5pm MST. Phones going from the “EDGE” network to “edge” network to “GSM” network. Random sporadic data services. Phone voice services are functioning normally.

Sprint has confirmed that there is a Nation Wide outage for BlackBerry smart phones only.
The outage includes issues with Sending/Receiving Email and Internet Access.
There is no ETR and no Problem ticket has been escalated internally through Sprint for the issue.

AT&T has reported a trend where customers using gmail services are not able to send email from their devices, currently their is no ticket number opened and all calls are being escalated to RIM to collect examples.
Emails will error out with the error message "Message included an invalid address"

07/28/2008 - RIM is reporting as of 11:15am Eastern Time, a data outage with 50% of users impacted, in North America only.
The outage appears to affect only integrated accounts. Web browsing and such seems to be in the clear.

On Saturday 26 July 2008, BlackBerry Operations is scheduled to perform some planned network maintenance. The maintenance window is between 0000 and 0600 BST on the morning of Saturday 26 July 2008.
During this 6 hour maintenance window RIM will have up to 2 hours of downtime of the BlackBerry service.
